A profile belongs
to its creator.

Root adds creator controls to the places you already browse. Following a profile or saving a post is a bookmark in your browser. Claiming a profile proves who controls it.

How to claim

1. Sign in to Root.
2. Connect the social account you control. Review the exact profile returned by the platform.
3. Confirm the profile to record your claim. On Bluesky, put the temporary verification code in your bio and ask Root to check it.

We verify your signed-in identity on the server and save claims in a persistent database. A URL, display name, or page overlay alone cannot establish ownership. Another account cannot overwrite an existing claim.

Platform coverage

The browser recognizes X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Twitch, Threads, LinkedIn and Bluesky. Availability of account verification is shown inside the claim flow. Some platforms require developer app approval before connections can open to everyone. YouTube requires channel authorization; Google login alone does not claim a channel. Facebook verification currently covers Pages with management access.

What a claim does today

A claim records your verified social identity. Creator pools, post tokens, fee settings and payouts are still in development. Claiming does not mint a token, activate a pool or move funds.

Browser previews

The Mac preview is being tested first. iOS, Android, Windows and Linux releases will be listed when their installers have been built and verified. Desktop overlay support does not imply that the mobile injection paths are complete.
